PEOPLE BEHIND THE BUSINESS
Your team
Start solo or hire help for stock preparation, evening packing and next-day prep. Hybrid shops can also hire checkout staff. Edit names, badge colours and skill levels; higher skill costs more. Custom edits change the scenario and fall outside the no-staff model benchmark.

EVERY DOLLAR HAS A HOME
Cash & profit
Why cash is different from profit
Buying S$100 of stock moves S$100 from cash into inventory. It becomes an expense when sold or written off. Profit = sales − cost of goods sold − expired stock − rent/storage − delivery fees − staff wages. Remaining and inbound stock are valued at cost, with no assumed resale premium.
Demand changes with price, a seeded daily market and a fictional rival. Rival prices shown are from the last completed day. The game reveals missed demand to help you learn; a real shop would not observe every missed sale.
DELIVERIES & LEARNING
The dispatch board
Delivery modes explained
Supplier delivery: normal lead time, no extra fee. Last-mile courier: one day faster, minimum one day, S$3 per order. Fulfilment centre dispatch: one day slower, S$0.50 per unit for handling and delivery. Warehouse pickup: normal lead time, no fee; travel to the warehouse and collect after stock is ready.
These are simplified service types with fictional terms. No carrier account or real provider is connected. Stockroom receiving is automatic for dispatched deliveries. Frozen-food expiry is a game timer, not food-safety guidance.
Autoplay lab
Neural policy loading…
The NN manages stock only. It does not hire or schedule staff. Telemetry stays in this browser. A challenger must pass fresh paired simulations before promotion.

Your first few days
Reach S$1,000 profit by day 30 while keeping cash positive. Take it one shift at a time.
Start with a small range
Choose a niche and start your business. Coffee has just one category to manage. Leave the seed as it is for your first run.
Buy stock, then run the day
Buy starter stock, then press Run day. Watch four shifts unfold, with a short pause between each. Pause or resume whenever you need. After night, choose Next day. Deliveries take 1–4 game days.
Read, adjust, repeat
Read the latest-day summary. Open Products to change prices or stock orders, Team to hire help, and Money & deliveries for your accounts.
How the shifts and simulation controls work
One day, four shifts
- Morning
- Receive ready deliveries, remove expired stock and prepare. Set prices before running this shift. They stay locked until night closes.
- Day
- Calculate demand. Hybrid shops also serve physical customers. An online-only business can have no sales at this point.
- Evening
- Pack online purchases. Available stock and packing capacity limit how much you can sell.
- Night
- Prepare tomorrow, pay workspace/storage costs and close the accounts. Wages apply when staff work their assigned shifts.
Choose your pace
- The highlighted next move
- Buy starter stock, then run one day at a time. With Help me restock checked, a fixed stock helper can place paid supplier orders before the day runs. Uncheck it to manage your own stock. The timeline updates every shift. Pause day stops the run; Resume continues where you left off. After night, choose Next day. Your shop stays paused between days and after a reload.
- Advanced instant controls
- Under Today, open Advanced instant controls to receive, sell, pack and close one shift at a time. These controls stay open while you use them.
- Finish this day
- Run all remaining shifts in the current day. This is useful once you understand the daily loop.
- Let the stock helper run one day
- A fixed rule orders stock while keeping S$250 cash, then finishes the day. It leaves prices and staffing to you.
- Neural autoplay campaign
- In the AI lab tab, the experimental stock model reorders and runs days until the campaign ends. Press Pause autoplay to stop, or focus an input to pause and edit.
No sales yet? Check delivery dates and available stock first, then finish the evening shift for online sales. Paid inbound stock cannot be sold until it arrives. For warehouse pickup, use the highlighted Collect ready stock button, or open Supplier orders under Today.
What to watch, and how to try another strategy
Read the business
Cash pays for orders and running costs. Profit includes stock remaining at purchase cost, so cash and profit will differ. Unsold stock is not sales revenue.
Missed demand can mean insufficient stock or work capacity. Check both before hiring. Higher prices can improve margin but reduce demand. Smaller batches can reduce expiry losses.
Run another experiment
Use Start a different business after exporting any campaign you want to keep. Keep the same niche, business model and seed to compare strategies against the same seeded market.
The AI lab tab has a one-day neural option, a full-campaign option and an optional local challenger fit. The model manages stock only. Fitting a challenger does not advance your business or guarantee better results.
Progress saves on this browser after each action. In Money & deliveries, use Export local telemetry to keep the action log and results. Draft edits are kept during this page session; clearing site data removes browser saves. All results are simulated.

Store coverage & sources
Playable references: Anker power banks, Levoit air purifiers, Oriental Kopi coffee, Coca-Cola drinks, Nissin instant noodles, Master Grocer beef, chicken category, and Hai Sia seafood. Additional registered 10.sg stores include rice, oil, litter, Pilates & yoga and custom gaming PCs. Product reads for those stores failed during this build; they are not yet playable. The Operations World registry requires reconnection, so this is not a complete inventory of all Alkamy-managed stores.
