- Keeps the disagreement on the record instead of forcing a consensus.
Works with Case (Peter’s seat) when an option has real upside and real downside.

Stress-tests plans against what could go wrong, before anything is committed.
- Runs a plan through failure cases.
- Marks where it breaks and how to recover.
- Reports what would have to be true for the plan to work.
Works with Path (Peter’s seat) when a plan has several stages, dependencies or deadlines.
Checked by
Thomas’s partner seats are Peter and Matthias. Either partner checks consequential work before a person signs it off. No seat signs off its own work.
