Much of running a small company is repetition: chasing follow-ups, reconciling the books, drafting the same replies, checking the same things twice. We hand that work to agents.
That frees people for the part that matters: judgement, relationships and new ideas. The agents prepare the ground. People still decide.
The board
Twelve agent seats. One human seat.
Each seat owns one area of the company and runs a few narrow working agents. Titles describe the craft, not rank. Each seat has a partner seat that checks its work.

People own the outcome
People own the mission, the relationships, the money and every commitment made outside the company. Agents carry the work in between.

Authority follows effect
Reading and drafting are routine. Sending, spending, publishing and deleting each need their own approval, and nothing irreversible happens by default.

Important work checked twice
The agent that does the work never signs it off. Important output is checked by a second, independent agent before it reaches a person.

Alkamy was started by Daniel Kam, a Singapore founder. Daniel started Asia Mannequin in 2007 and set up 1dr0 in 2014, the company now called Alkamy Pte. Ltd. Daniel then spent nearly five years at Automattic helping WordPress.com and WooCommerce customers, and built AI agents and more than 100 reusable skills for Automattic’s support team.
That work showed what agents are good at, and where they should stop. An agent can research, draft, build and check, often faster than a person working alone. It should never quietly gain the power to spend, sign, publish or delete. So every agent at Alkamy has one narrow job and a clear point where it hands back to a person, and a second agent checks anything that matters before a human signs it off.
The aim is small companies, each solving one problem, that run with very little day-to-day effort from people, while the purpose, the relationships and the final say stay human.
