Open-source software and earlier purchases

Updated: 23 October 2026

Free and open-source software

Alkamy Order Editor Pro is free and open source under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or any later version (GPL-2.0-or-later). Pro describes its broader feature set, not a paid tier. No purchase or annual subscription is required for the open-source download.

The GPL governs your use, modification and redistribution of the code. See the license included with the released package. Any separately agreed support or development service follows the scope and terms agreed for that service.

Installation and compatibility

Check the plugin’s stated requirements and limitations before installing. Test updates on staging and keep backups of your site and documents. PDF layouts support a defined set of blocks. Payment processing remains with your installed gateway. The plugin does not transmit InvoiceNow or Peppol documents or guarantee that a document meets every legal or tax requirement.

Earlier paid purchases

Making the plugin free does not retrospectively change the terms of an earlier purchase, remove an existing customer’s rights or itself cancel, refund or alter a payment or subscription. Those matters remain governed by the terms that applied to the earlier transaction and any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If you previously paid for the plugin, contact [email protected] with your order number about an existing purchase, account, subscription or support entitlement. The refund policy continues to explain requests concerning earlier payments. No automatic account or payment change is implied by this release.
